Select performances from all three events will be livestreamed exclusively to Hulu subscribers.
Streaming service Hulu will air livestreams of Lollapalooza, Bonnaroo and the Austin City Limits Music Festival in 2022 and 2023. Hulu forged a partnership with Live Nation to broadcast each of the festivals from the live music industry giant’s C3 Presents subsidiary.
Select performances from all three events will be livestreamed exclusively to Hulu SVOD subscribers at no additional cost. Additionally, special footage and behind-the-scenes looks at the festivals will be part of the programming. Hulu first dipped its toes into the live music streaming game by airing Lollapalooza 2021 performances.
Bonnaroo returns to The Farm in Manchester, Tennessee from June 16 – 19, while Lollapalooza will take place at Chicago’s Grant Park between July 28 and 31 and Austin City Limits Music Festival will be held in Austin’s Zilker Park over the first two weekends in October. Hulu will present two different live feeds on the Friday, Saturday and Sunday of each festival with one feed provided on Thursday from Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza.
“Hulu and Live Nation are both committed to delivering exceptional entertainment to fans, so we are thrilled to be collaborating with them, again, as we expand our offering to include these three legendary festivals,” stated Hulu president Joe Earley in a press release. “Each event is unique, but all three bring people together for incredible music, artist, and experiences, which we are fortunate to be able to share with Hulu subscribers.”
“The demand for live music is at an all-time high and the live experience has never been more connected to digital,” added C3 Presents partner Charlie Walker. “By expanding our partnership with Hulu, even more fans will be able to tune into each of these incredible festival experiences in real-time and enjoy live performances from their favorite artists with the fans on-site.”
Look for the schedules to be revealed in the weeks prior to each event.
