Check out pro-shot footage from the first set of night two at MPP.
Phish posted pro-shot video of their performance of “AC/DC Bag” from a recent concert at Merriweather Post Pavilion. The footage comes from the first set of the second show of the band’s two-night run at the amphitheater near Baltimore.
Phish’s July 31 show at Merriweather Post started with “A Wave Of Hope,” followed by “Dogs Stole Things.” In the number three slot was “AC/DC Bag,” a song that’s part of guitarist Trey Anastasio’s Gamehendge saga that was debuted back in 1986. The band’s show on July 20 at The Mann in Philadelphia featured a nine-minute “AC/DC Bag” to open the second set, which was believed to be the longest version of the song since 2004.
Phish took “AC/DC Bag” slightly further at MPP, going beyond the 10-minute mark and entering some “Dayton ’97” territory, as noted by JamBase contributor RJ Bee. Watch Phish’s performance of “AC/DC Bag” from July 31 below:
Phish begins a three-night run in Atlantic City tonight, Friday, August 5. Livestreams are available via LivePhish.com.
