Umphrey’s McGee shared pro-shot video of their “Electric Avenue To Hell” mashup featuring Jennifer Hartswick from this past Saturday night in Iceland. The collaboration closed out UM’s first set during the second of three nights at Harpa’s Eldborg Hall in Reykjavik as part of their Röckjavik run.

“Electric Avenue To Hell” combines elements of AC/DC’s “Highway To Hell” and Eddy Grant’s “Electric Avenue” with Umphrey’s McGee original “The Triple Wide.” The sextet released a studio version of “Electric Avenue To Hell” featuring Hartswick on their ZONKEY mashup album in 2016.

Umphrey’s McGee debuted “Electric Avenue To Hell” live on Halloween 2013 in Milwaukee. Three additional versions followed before Saturday with Hartswick channeling Bon Scott on two and bassist Ryan Stasik‘s Doom Flamingo bandmate, Kanika Moore, guesting on the other. Saturday’s “Electric Avenue To Hell” was the band’s first since November 9, 2019 — a span of 117 concerts.

Jennifer Hartswick sang “Bullhead City” with the band just before “Electric Avenue To Hell.” Hartswick went on to lead Umphrey’s McGee through Heart’s “Barracuda” during the Röckjavik finale on Sunday.
